As a long long long time client (over 7 years), ShipCompliant immediately came to me to update their corporate website.
The goals were no less than the complete rewrite of the existing website to meet the outlined goals for search engine optimization (SEO), branding, marketing, social media, content flexibility and customer service.
As always, I worked closely with the management, marketing and the engineering teams to define the goals and implementation details for the project. It was a highly iterative process (as might nowadays be called an agile process) with many many rounds of design for each major section of the site.
Since launching back in 2007, the site has proven to be remarkably effective and flexible as the company has grown in leaps and bounds. And as a result it has remained largely as it was originally conceived and a testament to the thoroughness of the planning and the elasticity of the design.
