Rossi Electric, led by the gregarious and always amusing Craig Rossi, has been providing electrical contracting services since 1988 and bring that experience and attention to detail to residential lighting & control, and digital distributed audio needs. So, as a player in the Northern Colorado home automation space it was little wonder that I would eventually be working with him…
Having worked as the Senior Designer and done a great deal of work with Colorado vNet and the management team there, I ended up getting something of a reputation for creating memorable brands and websites for home automation installers, and having a keen understanding of what is needed from a web presence for those businesses. So, as a Colorado vNet dealer looking for a new website to tout his skills, Craig was sent to me…
The Problem
The challenge was to create a website from scratch for a company that has no brand to speak of but great ambition and a great deal of experience in home building and contracted services. Oh, and incorporate that logo.
The Process
It was a pleasure working with Craig on this as he was very open minded about the process and clearly very passionate about his business and the potential for home automation services to grow that business considerably.
He didn’t have a huge budget, but that wasn’t a huge concern… as I’ve mentioned elsewhere numerous times, I enlisted the Hypersites.com platform I’ve used successfully for so many other projects… I’ve found them to be an awesome fit for projects that need a decent amount of technical sophistication but don’t have the budget for a dedicated developer. It was really my first choice for Rossi Electric right from the start and I couldn’t have met the site needs and budget without them.
The Results
The final product is an attractive website that I feel truly reflects and respects Craig’s personality and past as an electrical contractor, as well as his diverse lineup of products and services… all set on a thoroughly modern backdrop (and an incredibly strong Colorado SEO presence).
