Having worked in the home automation industry as a senior designer, and worked directly with the design and management teams of a number of the big players, I find that I can frequently hit the ground running with installers and am regularly recommended to them by their system vendors. One such vendor, Exceptional Innovations, maker of the LifeWare layer of home controls built on top of Windows Media Center regularly sends me installers that are just starting out and in need of a web presence and/or identity such as eHabitat Solutions.
Frequently a lot of these guys have grand ambitions that are inversely proportional to their budget.
Not a problem… I’ve mentioned the stellar folks and platform of Hypersites.com for other projects, but they really are an awesome fit for projects that need a great deal of technical sophistication but don’t have the budget for a dedicated developer. It was my platform of choice for eHabitat Solutions.
And having completed the keystone identity project I set about mapping the look and what I had learned from the process to the website.
