Backcountry Baskets wanted to transform their home-based operation into a full fledged online commercial operation with a nationwide reach for their “premium quality food. functional reusable gift baskets. clean classic packaging.”

The Problem

The classic conundrum for a small company looking to sell their wares online is creating the infrastructure to do so without breaking the bank in the process.

The Process

Thankfully I am a verified designer and developer for the Hypersites platform and the helpful folks over there have got a wonderful template based system that makes getting a site up and running, let alone an eCommerce site, a snap! So, the foundation in place, I worked directly with Backcountry Baskets to build and organize the content to fill out the website.

The Results

A flexible, beautiful website that reflects the hand crafted nature of the baskets and serves its simple purpose of extending this home business across the nation.
