Bill, or “Dr. G” as his adoring patients call him, came to me with his fantastic URL and a goal to completely revamp his ophthalmic (say it four times very quickly) practice’s website and make it not only a crown jewel of his marketing and heavy SEO efforts but an active facet in growing the practice.
The site was on disparate servers, the content was quite thin and I think its fair to say that the presentation lacked purpose or direction.
I worked with Bill and an SEO and usability consultant to build out a site that would be easy on the eyes (get it?!) but would also be a magnet for search engines. I also developed a dynamic vetting application to evaluate a given individual’s candidacy for LASIK or other ophthalmic services. And underpinning it all: an easily updated and managed structure so that Bill could create new pages and navigation on the fly as the practice expanded.
Not only is the new site a beauty to behold, and has Bill grown it well past it original structure, but I continue to regularly work with him and a lasting client relationship, going on 5 years now, is generally one of the greatest endorsements I can get. He recently informed me that 2020vision.com was featured at an industry lecture on how to design effective websites for your practice. Neither of us knew about it in advance so needless to say we were thrilled at the surprise endorsement!
